They are taught to love the wicked, forgive them, and not resist them. Anyone can see that this strategy isn't working. Loving and befriending the wicked only confuses Christians and enables the wicked to continue practicing their crimes undeterred. James tells us to “resist the devil (one who
hurts you) and he will flee from you.“ (James 4:7). That advice does make sense.
Shouldn't we rather love our families and brethren. and especially our children, and protect them from the wicked who would prey upon them?
