Some background information for you all concerning freemasonry that not even your "high level" friends ( brothers ) will probably know about but it is important to understand the whole context and the level of control exerted by the European Banking Elite Families and Royalty in Europe over the World as we know it today
The vast majority of Freemasons never progress beyond the "blue degrees" which are the bottom 3 degrees which are open to anyone to join :
3 rd Degree Master Mason
2 nd Degree Fellow Craft
1 st Degree Entered Apprentice
Most Freemasons who have been raised to the 3 rd Degree to become Master Masons believe that they are at the top of the masonic ladder - as novices they were Entered Apprentices and then "passed" as Fellow Craft Masons and finally "raised" as Masters. The best a Master Mason can hope to achieve in their lifetime is to become the "Worshipful Master" of their Mother lodge - even the Grand Master of all England is only a Freemason of the 3 rd Degree
The Supreme Council
If a representative of The Supreme Council concludes that a Master Mason is a suitable for advancement beyond the 3 rd Degree he will be offered the chance of "perfecting" but very few ordinary Freemasons are ever given this opportunity - with each degree the number of initiates diminishes and the highest levels of Freemasonry are reserved for hand picked initiates from the European Banking Elite families and Royalty in Europe and other well connected/positioned families in other Countries :
31 ° Grand Inspector Inquisitor Commander is restricted to 400 members
32 ° Sublime Prince of the Royal Secret is restricted to 180 members
33 ° Pre-eminent Grand Inspectors General is restricted to only 75 members and they form the Supreme Council
The highest levels of Freemasonry are NOT available for ordinary Freemasons to progress to and are reserved for the Elite Ruling Families , the Monarchies and hand picked people who are selected to further the cause. However even these well connected families are barred from progressing beyond the 18 th degree without the unanimous agreement of the entire Supreme Council.
The highest level of Freemasonry is that of the 33 ° and this degree is limited to only 75 members worldwide and is completely outside of the control of the United Grand Lodge in the UK which has no jurisdiction over them - in fact the Supreme Council owns jurisdiction over the Grand Lodge in the UK !
The Ancient and Accepted Rite of the 33 rd degree is the only cohesive masonic group run on truly international lines and the 75 hand picked members are known as the "pre-eminent Grand Inspectors General" and they are controlled and chosen by unanimous agreement of the entire Supreme Council
The most Senior Supreme Council Headquarters is in Charleston , USA and it is from here that they effectively operate the worldwide network of Freemasons in the most powerful positions of many nations - in the UK the Supreme Council offices are located at number 10 Duke Street , St James's , London SW1 and this is one of many Supreme Councils located in various parts of the world which constitute the Supreme Council
The 33 rd degree is an honorary degree and you are obliged to make an oath of loyalty to Freemasonry that overrides the oath to your nation - most USA Presidents have been elevated to the 33 rd degree before they took official office but there is a clear conflict of interests
