My understanding is that it goes much farther back than Roosevelt. The Colonies never actually won the Revolutionary War.

King George was up to his eyeballs in debt to the Rothschilds. The King didn't own or finance his ships or armies. It was all controlled by the bank.

Mayer Amschel Rothschild sat at the head of the table at the Treaty of Paris, and told Benjamin Franklin (to paraphrase), "We could win the war, but it would be expensive. Further, if the Colonies are beaten, morale will suffer. Economic growth will suffer. We prefer to let you think you've won. Jubilant, the Colonies will create mountains of wealth. In a hundred years, we'll own it all anyway."

This adds a new perspective to Franklin's reply, when asked "What kind of government have you given us?", he said "A republic, if you can keep it."

The international bankers' first attempt to seize America was thwarted by Thomas Jefferson.

Andrew Jackson thwarted the bankers' second attempt.

In December, 1913, in a dead-of-night session with most of Congress gone home for Christmas, the Federal Reserve Act was passed, establishing the private Federal Reserve Banks, and giving them a twenty year charter during which time they would control the monetary system of the United States.

Upon expiration of the charter, the Federal Reserve Act would expire, and the powers granted by the Act would return to the Treasury. This means the international banking cartel in control, had only twenty years in which to bankrupt the nation. They knew if they failed they may never get another chance.

The 1929 Wall Street crash was intentional. It was only a small part of a much larger plan. Roosevelt was hand-picked for the presidency by the international bankers. His first order of business, in 1933, was to declare bankruptcy on behalf of the United States, and put it into receivership to the Federal Reserve Bank.

Mayer Amschel Rothschild's prediction came true, merely fifty years late.

It is the Bank which controls the Country, not the other way around. The Federal Reserve Bank has never been audited, and is regulated only by its stockholders. Through its enforcement arm, the United Nations, this international banking cartel has systematically taken control over most countries on the planet. The United States has been the primary military arm of the U.N., and for this reason has been allowed to keep its military and economic strength. Now that most of the world is in their grasp, the Bankers plan to de-stabilize the U.S.

Their one last fear is that an uncomfortably large percentage of people in the U.S. are armed to the teeth. Disarming the American People will be the final move to checkmate.

It’s amazing! It’s mind boggling that so many people can be controlled by a few rats.
I watched a documentary a couple months ago about the dust bowl. Of course the intent was not to reveal this, but you could see the progressive move by government, and the people moving toward socialist/statist solutions to their problems. One solution (which is so typical) was that farmers were paid a dollar to bring their starving cows to be killed by the government. One man watching the massacre asked, “Can I have one to butcher and eat?” He was firmly told no.
What makes people so willing to trade their liberty and freedom (birthright) for a socialist theft program (mess of pottage). It’s just one thing after another. Now it’s guns. We’ve seen the ‘state’ come in and confiscate guns at Katrina. Millions of gun owners have registered their guns for the ‘privilege’ to carry their gun, so now the feds know right where to get them. Most Christian gun owners have been dumbed down enough by their 501 c3 church/preachers so that when the preachers cry, “It’s the law of the land, and we are duty bound to obey, because all authority is ordained by God, and we are to submit to all laws.” I hear this stuff all the time here in the so-called “Bible Belt”, and to be honest, I am sick of hearing it.
Another fable I’m sick of is “Give unto Caesar”, but that’s another post.
I hear it said, and I see it on bumper stickers all the time “You’ll have my gun when you pry it from my cold dead fingers.” I’ll bet we’ll see half of them have their guns pried from their live trembling fingers when SWAT comes knocking on their door. Our battle cries must be in the righteousness of the Kingdom of God.
I know. I’m a pessimist. It’s hard not to be when you live to be almost 60 and have literally watched everything (politics, education, laws, church, you name it) in this country going to hell in a hand basket. There are always some cockroaches lurking around in the crevices waiting to undermine the intended liberty and freedom that our Creator intended for us to have.
Ah… This is the real issue. Are we as God’s people living up to the standards that God outlined in His Holy scriptures? Far from it. A brother asked me a few weeks ago, “Scott, how have we ended up in the mess we are in of being a people that is dumbed down and unable to turn things around. The evil just seems to prosper.” I answered, “The sheep have turned away from the Shepherd and His law. Sheep will become sick without the guiding hand of their Shepherd. They will become lost, badgered and fall prey to wolves without the guidance and care of their Shepherd...
every time. “ History has shown that every time Israel turned away from God they became reprobate and troubled by their enemies. The Bible many times allegorically refers to us as sheep and Christ as our Shepherd.

As God’s creation we cannot prosper without walking in His ways. It was always that way for Israel in the Old Testament and it is that way for us today. John R. Rushdooney said in so many words, “A people that think they can live without doing things God’s way are suicidal”.
People think if we could only get back to the “Supreme Law of the Land” the Constitution things would get better. It will not get better until we turn back to the TRUE Supreme Law of the Land – the Word of God.

There is only one solution to restoration and that is doing things Yahweh’s way. An example is the debtor nation we have become. If people would simply quit supporting the federal reserve system and get out of debt, quit borrowing,
stop supporting the usurious/interest system and stop being servants to the lenders, you would see this tentacle of the beast shrivel up and die.

Just like if the financial support was withdrawn from the political drug (money) addicts running this country, we would see them running for the dark crevices they belong in.

Am researching this subject now - do you have any pointers to documentation on this ?

Ever since I moved 700 miles down the road, much of my research material has been hard to find.

It seems to me that much of the original research I read on this, was by a Dr. Gene Schroeder. I cannot recall the name of his book, but you may be able to find it by searching his name. I did a cursory search just now, but did not find it.

to be somewhat interesting. I've shared a few meals with the man referred to in this article as "The Informer", and we've spoken at some of the same functions.

Schroeder was also the first to bring to my attention the 1917 "Trading with the Enemy" Act which, in essense, transformed every American into an enemy of the government.

If I remember any more, I'll let you know.

I thought it was the Trading with the Enemy Act of 1933 that, by changing a few words of the original Act of 1917, transformed U.S. citizens into enemies of the State. It's been a while, so I could be mistaken.

The Trading with the Enemy Act was first established in 1917, but went through changes in 1933 and 1977. It specifically deals with the control of trade with countries that the President deems as a threat. The change in 1933 represented a great departure from previous acts by Congress in which it allowed the President full power to act in any way the executive branch deemed, as long it takes place during an emergency.

I think you may be right about that. I can't remember what I read or where, but I recall reading that every president signs a declaration of emergency of one sort or another. I think if I were a corrupt politician with that much power just waiting on a signature, I would probably do the same thing. If I find the article, I'll certainly share a link
