The following is a good story that argues that internet (originally ARPANET) was always intended by the US Department of Defence research agency ARPA (now DARPA) as a surveillance and psychological warfare tool.
In 1958, ARPA was formed under Defence Secretary Neil McElroy, to promote the nuclear bombs threat and space travel hoaxes for propaganda purposes.
McElroy was thrust into this position from President of Proctor & Gamble, where he had pioneered the format of “soap operas”, melodramatic TV series designed to sell household products to housewives (of course TV has been used to promote any kind of politically correct behaviour)...
After McElroy quickly returned to Proctor & Gamble, William Godel rose to deputy director. For Godel, space travel was only a psychological game of public relations, with a message of nuclear Armageddon. Godel funded “completely screwball” ideas because they were “bold and scientifically interesting”:
These included a plan to control Vietnamese villages through mass hypnosis, an acoustic sniper-detection system (which produced 5,000 false positives in field tests), an interplanetary spaceship powered by thousands of nuclear explosions and a magnetic force-field to repel incoming Soviet warheads
The RAND Corporation was hired by ARPA on how to weaponise behavioural science:
The Pentagon started throwing money at social and behavioural scientists, hiring them to make sure America’s “counterinsurgency weapon” always hit its target, regardless of the culture in which it was being fired. Under William Godel, ARPA became one of the main pipelines for these programs, helping to weaponise anthropology, psychology, and sociology and putting them in the service of American counterinsurgency.
On 2 June 1975, NBC correspondent Ford Rowan “appeared on the evening news to report a stunning exposé”, exposing that ARPANET was used to “spy on Americans and share surveillance data with the CIA and NSA”.
The responsible parties simply promised to delete the collected data, and went ahead like nothing happened.
Even Google’s Larry Page’s first 1998 research paper was “funded by DARPA”: https://expose-news.com/2023/03/10/inte ... om-outset/
I guess that the Twitter files have sort of stopped, as nobody is interested anymore...
In Twitter files #17, the unknown government agency Global Engagement Center is introduced, that (very "shocking") asked Twitter to ban accounts: https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1631 ... 89322.html
To give Elon Musk's limited hangout operation some additional free publicity (does this make them more or LESS credible?), 2 of his propaganda writers were invited to testify before a televised hearing of US Congress.
Twitter files #18 advertises their worthless "Twitter files" pieces by introducing the "Censorship Industrial Complex". The Twitter reporters give themselves an undeserved compliment by claiming "our findings are shocking". It is "shocking" that people actually believe that there are such things as "freedom of the press" and "freedom of speech" in our Brave new world (or "justice" or "democray" for that matter)...
I guess that the tech and media billionaires are terrified now that Elon's propaganda team demands that Congress stops funding censorship of Americans that violates the First Amendment (obviously censoring foreigners is of no concern, nor the censorship by the EU and British Empire). They don't seem concerned with censorship in support of the green electricity fraud, which has made Elon Musk the supposed richest man in the world (much of his wealth coming from government subsidies): https://archive.is/gvYAS
While corrupt attorney Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. has been ridiculed by the mainstream media for his anti-vaxxer activism, he has been praised for his environmental activism...
In 1999, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. founded the Waterkeeper Alliance, whose activities include lawsuits against small farmers for clean water (are US farmers just as bad as Dutch "boeren"?)...
Waterkeeper Alliance is part of a whole clean "water" network.
Even more interesting in this context is that Kennedy was a venture partner at VantagePoint Capital Partners, one of the world's largest cleantech investment firms.
VantagePoint was the largest pre-IPO institutional investor in Tesla (Musk's most valuable asset): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_F._Kennedy_Jr
Jim Marver is a co-founder and director of VantagePoint Capital Partners that was established in 1996.
Marver is also a member of the board of Tesla.
Jim Marver has some interesting previous employers.
Bear Stearns (associated with Trump and his paedophile buddy Epstein), from 1988 to 1996.
LF Rothschild Unterberg Towbin, from 1982 to 1988.
Goldman Sachs, 1980 to 1982: https://www.crunchbase.com/person/jim-marver
Alan E. Salzman is the other co-founder, and current CEO, of VantagePoint Capital Partners.
Salzman was educated at the (Fabian) London School of Economics and is (of course) a member of the World Economic Forum: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_E._Salzman
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.'s environmental activism is contradictory when it comes to gas.
Kennedy has supported fracking that according to (other) environmental activists pollutes water (did he get paid for this?).
Whatever your opinion is on fracking, you can't trust another corrupt rich kid that was working with former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (like the Musk family!).
Kennedy was on Cuomo’s Hydraulic Fracturing Advisory Panel. Kennedy was mentored on fracking by another panel member, Mark Boling (of shale gas company Southwestern Energy): https://www.wrongkindofgreen.org/2011/1 ... -club-edf/

There isn't much information on how Musk, Tesla, SolarCity, and Musk's Rive cousins were involved in the SolarCity Buffalo Billion scandal.
SolarCity was founded by Musk's cousins Peter and Lyndon Rive, on the instructions of Musk.
In 2014, Elon Musk promoted the idea of SolarCity building a solar plant in Buffalo, New York. Construction started in 2014 and was completed in 2017, financed by $750 million and another $500 million subsidy from the New York state.
