We know from history that anytime we see a false flag attack, there is some heinous bill waiting in the sidelines to be passed, that without the false flag would not have the acceptance of the public. Well, many of us see what is going on with the D.C. “riots” and patrolling troops, but it seems that even some current and former congress critters like Tulsi Gabbard and Thomas Massey have some concerns about the recently submitted Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act…as they should…
The bill H.R.350, “to authorize dedicated domestic terrorism offices within the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation to analyze and monitor domestic terrorist activity and require the Federal Government to take steps to prevent domestic terrorism” is found HERE.
At the time I checked (2-1-21) the text was not yet posted, but is very similar to S. 894 submitted by the Senate in 2019 found HERE.
Beyond the obvious problems of enforcing “pre-crime” there is a huge problem for most Americans in how they broadly define what a “domestic terrorist” is.
From S.894:
Here is US Code 18 §2331(2) the term ‘‘domestic terrorism’’ has the meaning given the term in section 2331 of title 18, United States Code, except that it does not include acts perpetrated by individuals associated with or inspired by—
(A) a foreign person or organization designated as a foreign terrorist organization under section 219 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1189);
(B) an individual or organization designated under Executive Order 13224 (50 16 U.S.C. 1701 note); or
(C) a state sponsor of terrorism as determined by the Secretary of State under section 6(j) of the Export Administration Act of 1979 (50 U.S.C. 4605), section 40 of the Arms Export Control Act (22 U.S.C. 2780), or section 620A of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 (22 U.S.C. 2371);
The DHS, in their DHS Lexicon, define it slightly differently:domestic terrorism –
activities that—
(A) involve acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State;
(B) appear to be intended—
(i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;
(ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or
(iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and
(C) occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the United States.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation, named “Director” in H.R.350 and S. 894, recognizes both above in defining “Domestic Terrorist” activity and renames them “Domestic Violent Extremist” in their publication Domestic Terrorism: Definitions, Terminology, and Methodology.domestic terrorism –
act of unlawful violence that is dangerous to human life or potentially destructive of critical infrastructure or key resources committed by a group or person based and operating entirely within the United States or its territories without direction or inspiration from a foreign terrorist group is a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any state or other subdivision of the United States and appears to be intended to intimidate or coerce a civilian population, to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion, or to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping.
Guess I’ll have to do a Terms of Art page on “extremism” too… [added 4-28-21 - EXTREMISM]
But for now, we’ll just acknowledge that an “extremist” could be pretty much anybody that disagrees with the status quo. The FBI even divides these “extremists” into categories:
Racially or Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremism
Anti-Government or Anti-Authority Violent Extremism
Animal Rights/Environmental Violent Extremism
Abortion-Related Violent Extremism
All Other Domestic Terrorism Threats
You can read how the FBI defines all these domestic terrorists, ahem “extremists” in their publication HERE.
Nah…no problems with a bill that broadly defines pretty much anyone in America with any strong ideology as a potential criminal that MAY (or may not) at some point act on these strong ideologies, so he better be monitored, investigated, oppressed, detained, killed, just in case… Nothing to worry about here...except maybe the false flag event that will likely happen to get it all passed...
