Re: Law Books for Your Library

Thank you. I did save those links that you posted, I just haven't had a chance to download them. They do appear to be just what I was looking for!

Re: Law Books for Your Library

Brother, please don’t think that I’m trying to kick you in the shins or getting on a soap box, but in the interest of discussion and edification for all who may read this thread I would like to respond to some of your questions and comments. I ask that you consider the following. Shouldn't we be car...

Re: New Political Party - God Bless America

I second that. We should be staying out of the voting and political process of the United States. It is a system of the world, by the world, and for the world. It is not a government of Christians, by Christians, nor for Christians. We need to spend more time seeking His Kingdom and claiming the sam...

Re: Law Books for Your Library

Maybe we need to go farther in our education? Especially as equity is where one wins relief when the common law has no remedy. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equity_%28law%29 Equity is commonly said to "mitigate the rigor of common law". Equity is to Common law like the Proverbs of Solomon...

Re: Law Books for Your Library

I couldn't find a copyright notice anywhere on the site, but I don't want to post them without permission. Are you aware of any re-publishing rights being granted somewhere on the website? (yale.edu) I found the following regarding republishing rights at Yale University Press: http://yalepress.yale...

Re: Law Books for Your Library

notmartha,

Thanks for the book. I gave it a quick browsing and it looks like it'll make a nice addition to the library. It's my understanding that Stephen's Rules are to civil procedure as Robert's Rules are to parliamentary procedure.

God Bless,

Re: Law Books for Your Library

Thank you for catching that, that link was not supposed to make the final cut. In my draft of the post I had many books listed (a quick cut and paste), and thought I deleted all but 5. Apparently the Yale book was persistent and managed to sneak through. I will delete it from the post. Althou...

Law Books for Your Library

Let's face it, Christians, the main reason for our being tricked into become surety for strangers and letting the courts run rough-shod over us, is that we have become completely ignorant of the Law. We, as a society, have become complacent and even indoctrinated into letting others tell us what the...

Re: Non-Statutory Abatements

Likewise, the following is only my opinion: Please inform us of whether or not we may edit the Non-Statutory Abatement signature [autograph] line with regards to format and whether or not it may be edited to add a line for the bondsman's name, and, if we may edit the red ink right thumb print by ins...
